The Story Behind The Business: Pye Prints

The Story Behind The Business: Pye Prints

I am currently obsessed with prints and buying them from great small businesses! I mostly find these prints on Instagram. TOday I am introducing you to the incredibly humble Corin the brains behind Pye Prints!

For as long as Corin can remember she has loved a minimalistic design and has been designing her own prints and decorating her room with them. She tends to stick to minimal colour and a lot of her inspiration comes from everyone’s favourite app Pinterest! Corin loves looking at interior design and finding funny quotes and sentences, so she thought why not put the two together!

So as a business what is the next step?

“my aim would be to expand into other paper goods. I’ve got a real soft spot for pretty stationary, and would love to incorporate my designs into notebooks, greeting cards and diaries. That would be the ultimate goal”

No matter what you do in life you should be proud of it and I think that is also Corin’s philosophy. When I asked her what part of the business she was most proud of she responded with, all of it!

“I started this as a hobby, decided to upload my work to Etsy and see if people would be interested in my designs, and a few days later my orders started flooding in and it hasnt stopped! I run this business on my own, from designing, to managing my social media, advertising, promoting, printing, packaging and posting! I’m very proud of how much of aa following I’ve gained via Instagram, and I’ve spoken to some lovely people which I’m sure will be friends for life!”

And the dream? To own her own physical shop! Selling framed prints, stationery and greeting cards. A close friend of corin’s has recently opened her own store proving to her that dreams do come true and she can make hers a reality also!

If you want to get your hands on Corin’s work you can purchase it on Etsy and you can also send her a message on Instagram if you have an idea for a custom print!
